Finally managed a 'direct' audio/video recording of my Orla Grande Theatre using I phone 6s.

I hope you like 'The Nearness Of You'

Thanks Terry,

I think it's where this organ excels.... simple, slow, relaxed....solo sounds. Mainly because the solo sounds are so very good, the rhythms are simple and not fussy, and the real drawbars are excellent.

The orchestration is better on the AR.

I love Steps, they sound so much like ABBA.

This is one of their catchy tunes, played on my Korg PA4

'After The Love Has Gone'

Lovely selection Peter and I may add nice videos.  Have you still got an AR100; I didn't see it in your scan of the music  room?

Hi Terry

Glad you enjoyed them.

Yes, I still have an AR100 - I keep this downstairs in the lounge. It’s just too heavy to get it upstairs, I know it can come apart for moving, but it looked a bit tricky, unlike the Orla and Technics which split easily. I’m afraid I also bidded successfuly on eBay for £30 for an old Technics U60 organ late one Friday evening when I was rather inebriated. I was quite surprised the following morning to find I had ‘won’ it as I had completely forgotten all about bidding. This one lives in my shed, which is actually quite a nice place to be now!

eBay is a very dangerous place to be late on a Friday evening.

Thanks for listening

Peter

On behalf of us all, Peter, thank you very much indeed.

Please send me this to add to JOT please.   I am urgently seeking one more track to complete the next set.

A very HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you and your family.  Love the Christmas tree.  The light changes weren't quite in synch with your playing, or was it the other way round.

Brilliant!

Thanks Peter

I’ll make an AR recording tomorrow and send it to you.
ATM I don’t  have one, as this was recorded straight to my I phone for YT.

Merry Christmas

Peter

Very nice registration and beautifully performed.

Your Christmas wishes are reciprocated and extended to friends and AR members in other parts of the world, all of whom will also making special arrangements to welcome Father Christmas, but special thanks must go to Peter A and Hugh for their considerable efforts that continue to  make a significant contribution to the  success of the AR Group.

Best wishes Everybody.
