Sadly the second of the two North East Organ Societies closed its doors last night with a final concert by Tim Flint - attendance was 21 not including Tim and his mum!  But out of the ashes Jon Smith and Chiho Sunamoto are going to try and establish their own event 'Music for the North East'.  The first concert featuring Chiho herself at St Aidan's Church, Billy Mill Lane, North Shields, NE29 8AW at 2:30pm on Sunday 24th January.  We very much need for this event to be supported so even if you can't attend your self make sure to tell your friends.  They are deliberately trying to broaden the audience base by electing for a church on a Sunday afternoon.  Hopefully it can be as successful as Tony Stace's Northallerton concerts! 8)

Wow, Les.  We were in Durham last night, and did a Wentworth jigsaw puzzle each in the 'van and then watched TV.  That close and didn't know it was on.  Enjoyed exploring the City for the last few days, though.
