AR-100 Review by Michael Wooldridge
« on: October 09, 2018, 04:09:05 PM »
If you go to www.pinterest.com/pin/425730971007048525 you will see examples of vintage organ brochures and the like, including the first page of a review of the AR-100 by Michael Wooldridge entitled “Lifting the Lid”. I would love to read the whole article but cannot work out how to open the second and subsequent pages.

Scroll down to see more of this article.

Can anybody help me or, failing that, does anybody have a copy of the original review they could post or forward?

Sorry Roger.

Tried several possibilities, but can't find a way to achieve more.

Also tried searching web do for this article, but with no joy.

I guess it was published in a magazine, and is therefore, locked in there.

Peter,

Thanks for trying. Another view of page 1 suggests the magazine was Organ And Keyboard World. I’ve googled that with no success.

Maybe somebody else will come up with something.

It has the feel for the type of article

Organ and Keyboard Cavalcade Magazine

Yes, could be. It looks like it was published 7/10/97, if anyone can help.

Peter,

Is it possible to transfer or copy this thread to General Interest in order to secure a wider audience? I probably should have posted there in the first place.

Crumbs, Peter, I’d forgotten all about that. Thanks for your continued interest but it’s the second and subsequent pages that we’re short of.

The Cinema Organ Society web page, forwarded in your next post, gives Michael Wooldridge’s e-mail address, so I’ll ask him if can provide a copy of the complete article. If so, I’ll let you know.

I have already contacted Michael, who replied extremely quickly.
It was written in 1996/7, for the short-lived UK-OKEY magazine.
Unfortunately he has not kept a copy.  It was 21 years ago.

He knows about the AR-Grouo, so perhaps we can establish a helpful relationship with him.

I’m up for that but what are you suggesting?

He told me he performs a couple of times each year for a lady who runs a facility for  older needy people, and plays her AR, to entertain them.

I boldly and confess cheekily asked him to play some tracks for me to use on JOT.

We'll see.
