That is really great Simon.

Must say that the AR organ sound especially sounds fantastic. As does your playing.

Hi Peter,

Thanks, I really want to try and copy the Hammond sound of Klaus Wunderlichs early music but struggle to find the right settings. Will try for a future JOT.

Simon

Hi Hugh

Another excellent arrangement from Simon. He has an amazing ability to coax some fantastic registrations and styles from his AR.

Best wishes
Neville

Hi all,

I decided to get the Genos and have connected it to my AR80. The midi setup is quite flexible on the Genos and I have been able to set it up so that I can play the accompaniment on the lower keyboard and the bass on the pedalboard of the AR. This is a test I have done to show this.

Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon

I’m afraid midi and me don’t get on too well, but I do like the sounds I’m hearing here.
So, were all the sounds from the Genos except the bass, or was the lower manual AR?

Great playing.

Hi Peter,

The accompaniment is the Genos played from the lower manual of the AR along with the AR organ draw bars. The upper manual of the AR is the AR organ draw bars. The bass is the Genos played on the pedals. I could play the Genos voices from the upper manual of the AR but have disabled this at the moment.
Loved the ELO tune, how about Mr Blue Sky next?

Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon

Clever stuff, certainly works well I think.

I can never find the right style for Blue Sky, have tried a few times.

Cheers
